Hey Lykkers! I feel like Vitamin C is one of those skincare ingredients I always end up coming back to. Whenever my skin starts looking dull, uneven, or a little tired, it's usually the first thing I add back into my routine.
Recently, I've been using two Vitamin C serums that both contain 10% Vitamin C and ferulic acid. Since they share similar key ingredients, I was curious to see how they felt on my skin and whether I would naturally prefer one over the other.
1. FSS Vitamin C Serum 10% with Ferulic Acid
This serum quickly became one of those products I enjoy using in the morning. The texture feels lightweight and comfortable, so it layers easily with the rest of my skincare routine. I don't like products that leave my skin feeling sticky before sunscreen, and thankfully this one absorbs quite nicely.
After using it consistently, I noticed my skin looked a little brighter and more refreshed overall. What I liked most was that it fit into my routine effortlessly—I never felt like I had to work around it or worry about it feeling too heavy. For me, this is the kind of serum that quietly does its job in the background.
2. Wardah Vitamin C Serum 10% with Ferulic Acid
I've always been curious about Wardah's skincare products, so I was excited to give this one a try. The formula feels comfortable on the skin and works well for daily use. I found myself reaching for it on days when I wanted a simple routine without too many steps. Over time, my skin looked more even and less dull. I also liked how easy it was to combine with the rest of my products without feeling overwhelmed.
One thing I appreciate about this serum is that it feels approachable and beginner-friendly, especially if you're just starting to explore Vitamin C products.
Honestly, they're more similar than different. Both contain Vitamin C and ferulic acid, both fit nicely into my morning routine, and both helped my skin look brighter over time. Most days, I end up choosing based on whichever bottle is closest to me on my skincare shelf.
